To start a Quest with friends, choose one daily action, pick an existing challenge or create your own, share its invite link, and check in as you go. Agree on what counts before the first day so everyone understands the same plan.
This guide expands the Quests product overview into a first-week checklist. Quests is made by Nothing Serious LLC, the publisher of this guide. App screens and available options can change between releases.
1. Pick a finishable first round
Choose an action you can describe in one sentence. For a reading Quest, that might be: read for ten minutes each day. Agree on whether audiobooks count, when the round starts, and the date you will review it. The challenge planner can hold this agreement before you enter the app.
For your first round, invite people who already want to try the activity. Ask what would make the target manageable. A shared challenge can include different personal targets when everyone understands the arrangement.
2. Choose or create the Quest
Explore an existing challenge that matches your plan, or create one around your own action. Quests groups challenges into Healthy, Mindful, Social, Productive and Creative categories. Read the selected Quest's details before joining, especially the action and duration.
Use a name that explains the activity. Ten Minutes of Reading gives a friend more information than New Me. Keep any group agreement alongside the invitation so it remains easy to find.
3. Send an invitation people can answer
Want to read for ten minutes a day together? We start Monday and will review the first week on Sunday. Audiobooks count. Here is the Quest invite link. Join if this fits your week.
Share the invite link supplied by the Quest. Let friends decide whether to join. For reminders and encouragement, use the preferences in your accountability agreement.
4. Complete the action and check in
After doing your daily action, record your progress in Quests. A reflection or photo can add context to a check-in. Share only details you are comfortable making visible to the people involved. For a step challenge, check your phone or wearable's count before recording completion.

5. Review the first week together
Ask which days were easy, what got in the way and whether the target still fits. Encourage friends through the app's reactions, comments and Sparks when welcome. Agree on any changes for the next round without assuming that a group agreement changes the app's points or streak rules.
Use the weekly habit review to make one specific adjustment. A useful first round gives you information about how the activity fits your actual life.
